Nonsense. Ask whole ARMED Europe how much their weapons helped against the Nazis.

A country willing to commit genocide massacres, exterminations won't be stopped by privately ownded waepons at all. It didn't matter wether the victims were armed or not. There are lots of examples.

What about the very first genocide of the last century? (A forgotten genocide, btw.)1,5 million Armenians massacred by the Turks. They have been one group and were not spreaded over lots of countries.

If a powerful dictator wants to see you dead - then you die. Defendig yourself will lead to the death of even more people. Or do you think that the slaves in US would have achieved freedom on their own? With handguns? I don't think you do.

Hitler did not take the guns from the Jews but from the Germans. That concerned about 500'000 (maximum guess) Jews in Germany, too.

And you think they could have defended themselves against the Nazis? 500'00 Jew - I don't know how many of them would have been able to really use a gun - against Nazi Germany???

Did you see 'Schindlers Liste'? Do you feel that these people would have been able to defend themselves, with guns?

I did not say that the Civil War was about slaves, but can you tell me about one single group of supressed people anywhere, who have been able to raise against their suppressors with arms? And to win?

But did you ever hear of school-massacres in Sweden? Do the Swedes go to their former workplace when they are fired and try to shoot a s many colleagues as possibles? Do they have Snipers running around, shooting people? Do they have 900 killed people due to weapons use yearly? (Was put in relation to US numbers)

1.  School "massacres" (I love it when you repeat media scare tactics!)  I'd just like to say on March 5, 1770 in Boston there was a "massacre" as well.    Look it up if you don't get the joke.

2.  900!!  Out of what?  What's the total population of America twiw?  900 is pretty damn good if you asked me.  But you did anyways didn't you?

2. You protestwarrior guys ALWAYS have problems with numbers.

US population: ~290'000'000
Weapon deaths last year: ~30'000

Thats about one out of 9'666.

Population of Sweden: close to 9'000'000

So taking the US numbers for Sweden they would have about 900 weapon deaths a year.

In case you have problems with calculating it, ask cricket from your extremist "The French are so dumb, they die because of heat"-site. He should ben done with his percantage calculatings by now. Hopefully.

Let us be clear on one thing. Every free nation can only be truly free if every citizien has the right to defend him/herself with his/her own guns.

That is why we need to ensure we find the Iraqi equivalent to Heston soon. Iraq will NOT be free until every Iraqi owns at least one fire weapon.

Twiw,the point is if those 40 or so people who watched that women get stabbed,were armed,while maybe not preventing Lindhs death would have in the least stopped that man from walking out of that store and getting away with murder??Doesn't it bother you that this has happened before with Olav Palme??How many more killers get to roam free??

And your sh*tting me Twiw-Swedens crime and murder rates have been on the rise for the last 25 years including this very day..Problem is,people cant defend themselves or even put them on even ground with thugs who would use these weapons any chance they got..

1. If everyone would have carried his own there then the murderer would have too. Then not only one death would have to be mourned but possibly many others too.

2. I'm sh*tting you? Compare the Swedish crime and weapon death rates to your very own. Boasting with dropping rates in US would be ridiculous. That's like saying "Look how generous Bill Gates is! He gave 10 dollars to the bum, you only gave 2..."

Compare the rates!
